When Manny Pacquiao defeated Shane Mosley via a unanimous decision in their May 7th boxing match, all of Pacquiao’s fans are wondering if who will be his next opponent in a mega match. Many are expecting it to be Floyd Mayweather Jr., but Pacquiao’s team said that it is far from possible because it seems like Mayweather’s team has been refusing their offer ever since. Looks like Mayweather is afraid that Pacquiao will mess up with his boxing record and ruin his career as one of the best professional boxers in the world.
Anyway, are you now ready to know who Pacquiao’s next opponent inside the ring will be? It is no other than Juan Manuel Maquez, the boxer that he has already fought twice. Don’t you think it was already enough for Marquez to prove himself to the world since he was already beaten by Pacquiao? I believe he still wanted this fight because a lot of people believe that he could have been the winner in his previous fight with Pacquiao. Well, there you have it. This is going to be the third fight between Pacquiao and Marquez. The first took place last May of 2004 and ended in a draw. As of this time, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao already has a boxing record of 53-3-2-1 with 38 knockouts while Juan Manuel Marquez has a boxing record of 52-5-1 and 38 of which is also by way of knockouts. The whole Las Vegas will surely be crowded when this battle happens. So who will it be? The Filipino pride Manny Pacquiao or the Mexican boxer Manuel Marquez?
