So you think you know Manny Pacquiao already, do you?! Well, I don’t think so! There are just hundreds of things that you don’t know about the eight title holder Manny Pacquiao! He is not just about boxing! It’s true that this guy loves boxing so much. He considers it as his life, work and passion. But this guy has a lot of things in mind than just boxing! And we are about to show you what those are.
Well, at first you might actually consider Manny Pacquiao as a simple professional boxer guy who’s only real passion is boxing. Yes, he did defeated some strong boxing players in the ring especially Juan Manuel Marquez but, he sure did something more than that! I know you guys might be thinking about the upcoming battle of Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3, but it’s not about that!
What I’m talking about is Manny Pacquiao’s Basketball team! You got that right! This boxing sensation likes to play basketball and his very own basketball team in General Santos called, “MP Warriors of Gensan”. As he took the career in boxing, he then just wanted to pursue his dreams by taking ownership in the said PacMan Team in Mindanao Visayas Basketball Association. This team of his has already won a Championship title last year 2005 and won as runners up last 2006. Now the next battle that he must face is the upcoming fight this November 2011 Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3.
In Manny’s recent interviews he actually said that he’s first dream was to become a basketball star. He loves basketball so much during his early days. But, unfortunately Manny’s height of 5’6” would be more of an advantage in his boxing career, and it sure did! As Manny faces the career of boxing, he then amazingly got into the Top 10 of the Time Magazine of the most influential people. Manny also is one of the top entertainers in Manila, Philippines. He’s an actor singer who then turns to be a public servant. Now, this 12th of November 2011 in Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 will definitely become one of the most awaited match this year.
