Manny Pacquiao was Offered $65 Million for a Fight

There’s no telling how popular this eight title holder Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao has become. He’s been known not only to the Philippines, United States but in the whole world including to the hometown of Mexican sensation Juan Manuel Marquez. Now, with a lot of demands and requests at hand, it is said that the pound for pound eight division title holder Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao was offered a $65 Million to fight in Mexico! You heard that right! It’s more than what he’s getting in the Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 this coming 12th of November 2011.

According to some recent reports and news worldwide, it is rumoured to be the richest man in the world Mr. Carlos Slim Helu who offered Manny Pacquiao the $65 Million just to have the Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 be played in his hometown, Mexico. This Mexican billionaire is the richest man in the world who owns the biggest telecommunication site in the United States and in the whole world. Some of his telecommunication companies that he owns are America Movil, Latin America’s largest mobile phone carrier. He’s just the only guy who accounted with most of his wealth on their mobile phone company. This billionaire still holds other businesses that gave him extra income, including his share of interests in their conglomerate Grupo Carso SAB.

This billionaire’s reasons of asking Manny to come over to his hometown and have the fight there is somewhat a strategy of his and or just another project he wants to try so that he can earn more money. Now, the offer to Manny Pacquiao still is on the hang. Manny’s corners are not commenting on the said issue. But for sure, the Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight on the 12th of November 2011 is going to come.
